Founded in 1920, Swansea is a vibrant, research-led university at the forefront of academic and scientific discovery. In the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise, Swansea University enjoyed the largest increase in internationally excellent research in the whole of the UK. Following this success, the University is offering a number of fully-funded PhD studentships for September 2009.

All studentships cover UK/EU tuition fees plus a maintenance grant of at least £13,290 p.a.

Arts and Humanities
