We offer many different types of accommodation for postgraduate students, all of which are listed in our accommodation finder. International postgraduate students are guaranteed accommodation on campus if they meet UEA's requirements and complete their accommodation application by the deadline.

We have a variety of bursaries and scholarships available for postgraduate students. These are typically awarded on academic merit, usually for the duration of the period of study. Application deadlines vary, so students are advised to visit the UEA fees and funding information page for further details.

The university's dedicated careers service, CareerCentral, offers a number of opportunities which help prepare them for successful careers once they leave UEA. CareerCentral helps students find student jobs and work experience, while offering a range of workshops, mentoring opportunities, and one-to-one sessions with expert career advisors. There is also a range of placements and internships available at established organisations. These are designed to help students develop the skillsets which employers value.

The Student Life and Wellbeing team in Student Journey & Support Services is made up of experienced, professional advisers and trainers who can help with your wellbeing. They offer advice, guidance and support through one-to-one appointments or signposting to internal and external services.

There is a wide range of support available to international students at UEA. The Student Information Zone is your one-stop shop for all student enquiries, big or small! You can either pop in in person or contact the team via email, phone or live chat. UEA also has experienced teams who can help you with many issues whilst settling in and throughout your time at university. They can provide advice, guidance and support on a range of topics including mental health and wellbeing, student life, finances, studying, specific learning differences and disability. There is also an English Language Support Programme available which is designed to help international students to develop their English Language skills.
