Fully Funded PhD Scholarships Available for applicants from Middle East and Africa

The Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Engineering Sciences (IGSES), Kyushu University, which is currently ranked 135 in the QS world ranking 2023, has just begun the recruitment of students for funded Ph.D scholarships in the Intellectual Exchange and Innovation (IEI) Program.

The IEI program aims to provide a high-tech training academy for talented and young scientists from various countries to become the future distinguished academics in research areas of Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, and Mathematics and Physical Sciences.

For the intake of October, 2024, we will provide 6 funded Ph.D scholarships in the IEI program for applicants from Middle East and Africa. Successful applicants will be awarded a scholarship of 148,000 JPY per month for three years, which is enough to cover their primary living expenses. Tuition fees, enrollment fees and administration fees of students of IEI: category D-a will be also waived.
