Hull University Business School is pleased to offer four scholarships for its PhD degree programmes for new students that have applied for September 2013 entry.
The scholarship contributes to tuition fees the equivalent of the UK/EU tuition fee cost regardless of nationality, and a maintenance allowance of £13,590 per year for the normal duration of the award, to a maximum of three years. For information, the UK/EU tuition fee cost for 2013 will be £3,828 per year. Non UK/EU candidates will be responsible for paying the difference between the UK/EU and non-UK/EU fees.
These scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the best overall application, research proposal and fit with the school's research strategy. Applications are particularly encouraged in the following areas: Accounting and Accountability; Corporate Social Responsibility; Empirical Finance and Banking; Logistics, Project Management, Supply Chains and Operations Management; Marketing; Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management; Economics; Regional and International Business; Systems Thinking, Cybernetics, Problem Structuring and Information Systems.
We also have a joint PhD with the University of Melbourne (Australia) on Systems Thinking for Sustainability.
The deadline for this scholarship application is Friday 11 January 2013 for entry in September 2013. Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 29 March 2013, and the scholarship will be offset against your tuition fee at registration.
