Prof. Bas Verplanken projects focus on attitudes and behaviour related to health practices and lifestyle choices.
His projects aim to understand how mental habits, positive thinking and self-regulation impact on behaviour in relation to environmental concerns, eating habits and fitness programmes.

Funding is difficult to obtain and highly competitive.
