About the Project

Many projects are possible, depending on a student's enthusiasms and expertise. All will involve mathematics, with a heavy reliance on dynamical systems, stochastic processes, and statistics. My interests range from fundamental evolutionary ecology and search theory at the smallest scales, to marine ecosystems and sustainable fisheries management at the largest scales, with entertaining diversions into networks of interactions, group dynamics, epidemiology and more.
