As Marie Curie Fellow you will be working in the area of CAD feature processing to simplify CAD models for engineering analysis, specifically on a language to specify geometric features and suitable feature detection and suppression algorithms.

A suitable candidate will have a first degree or masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a closely related subject. They must have proven excellent programming and mathematical skills, and experience in developing geometric modelling software or computer graphics software. Experience in declarative languages, database query languages and query optimisation, CAD feature processing will be an advantage, or numerical methods to solve partial differential equations will be an advantage. Eligibility to the Marie-Curie ITN scheme includes that the candidate has not spent more than 12 months in the UK in the 3 years immediately preceding the appointment for this position. Applicants must be researchers who are in the first 4 years (full-time equivalent) of their research careers.
