PhD Research Project
This research project is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a graduate electronics engineer to specialise in the field of high performance audio systems design.
This project will produce scientific advances through the development of design techniques and processes that will allow highly efficient power supplies to be used in consumer audio products whilst maintaining high fidelity performance. Generic reference designs and performance characterisation data will be published in engineering journals. The research student will develop key skills and knowledge that will be the basis for a research centred career within industry. This will help to maintain high calibre engineers within the UK design and manufacture base
and thus sustain the ‘people pipeline’.
