About the Project

The Department of Architecture & Civil Engineering at the University of Bath is seeking eligible applicants for a fully funded PhD studentship available for a start date of October 2013. The studentship is available to undertake PhD work within the BRE Centre for Innovative Construction Materials (BRE CICM (http://www.bath.ac.uk/ace/research/cicm)) or the Research unit for Energy and the Design of Environments (EDEn (http://www.bath.ac.uk/ace/research/eden)).
Candidates should have a first class honours degree in engineering or a closely related applied science discipline or equivalent qualifications and/or relevant experience. To be eligible applicants must either be UK citizens or citizens of any other EU member state and have lived continuously in the UK for at least the past two years. Funding Notes

The studentship is fully funded by the University of Bath and cover tuition fees at the UK/EU rate and a stipend of £13,700 per annum for 3.5 years full-time study. The studentships also include an allowance for travel and subsistence as well as some funds for project expenditure to acquire essential materials and minor equipment.
