About the Project

The successful applicant will undertake research on the links between population health (people’s health) and the natural environment. The research must have a UK focus and be of relevance to the UK policy community.

The research may involve a combination of quantitative methods, including original data collection (e.g. environmental data, social data) and secondary data analysis, and qualitative methods, such as interviews and focus groups.

A few examples of potential research projects are included on the following link: www.york.ac.uk/healthsciences/gradschool/funding/phd-studentships/hope-2014/
