Dr S Staniland  Applications accepted all year round  Funded PhD Project (European/UK Students Only)

About the Project

This project will try to physically understand how interactions with biomineralisation proteins control the crystallisation of magnetite nanoparticles, particularly with respect to the particles morphology. The process will be investigated by studying the proteins interaction with magnetite surfaces and monitoring how the protein interacts with the particles during the formation process.
