Programmes are underpinned by a combination of industry experience and research which has real world impact. We offer over 250 taught programmes in partnership with more than 70 professional bodies across a wide range of subject areas.

You will be taught and supervised by research led academic staff in the field of sciences, art, humanities, education, business, health and social sciences, many of whom are at the forefront of their specialist field and who will give you support and guidance throughout your studies and beyond.

We’ve created outstanding academic facilities with stylish lecture theatres, seminar rooms and study zones, equipped with the latest technology and specialist equipment.

Following a multi-million-pound refurbishment, you’ll find five storeys of professional resources in the library which you can access 24 hours a day during term time.

Our research
Our 12 University Research Centres act as the driving force behind the next phase of our ambitious research plans. These centres focus on areas of excellence and quality as independently confirmed by the Research Excellence Framework 2014.

In the 2014 assessment, Manchester Metropolitan University increased the numbers of researchers carrying out world-leading and internationally excellent research by 70%. We saw a significant increase, rising by 12 places in the quality rankings as a result.
