Brexit: UK Fee and Funding Guarantees for New EU Students

All parts of the UK have guaranteed that EU students starting a degree in 2020-21 will pay the same fees as UK students and continue to have access to student loans and other funding for the duration of their courses.

The guarantees mean that:

Separate official statements have been released to confirm these guarantees for EU students in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

What about students starting in 2021-22?

Unfortunately, the Government has confirmed that EU students will lose access to home fee status for courses that begin after August 2021.

You will still be able to apply for other funding to do a Masters or PhD in the UK.
