You need to speak to your supervisor if you don't know how to start your research. Speak to the admin team if you want to do the training/mentoring stuff.

Hello,

I would speak to your university about this, because you should be able to do the core course in September this year. Similar to you, I started my course in January so I missed some of the events that happened before Christmas, but I was able to just do them later (as September this year would still count as your first academic year).

Hello every one

I am a new international PhD student in the UK. My program started on the first of February.I have missed on major core course which was commenced on September 2017.
Currently I am lost and don't know how to start. I tried to join the university Phd mentoring program but it was fully booked.

I wish to find a PhD mentor who can help me please.
