User: chrisrolinski - 31 July 2008 00:54

lol. It means 'I wait here' or really, 'I'm waiting', or 'I'll wait here' or 'I'll stay here waiting'.

You get the point. lol

Just listening to this song for giggles now: it is called "Här stannar jag kvar"

God, I'm a geek and need to get on with my work!

User: chrisrolinski - 31 July 2008 01:07

"Come fly with me, come fly, let's fly away..."

Only tonight and tomorrow night and then I am done.

User: Walminskipeasucker - 31 July 2008 22:33

Feeling a bit down at the mo with my work, so it's administrative duties (which I can still class as work) tonight... I haven't got anywhere today, which is crap. I think I'll look at the lessons I need to teach for this coming semester tonight, and consider sorting the software I'll be needing to use for data analysis.

User: chrisrolinski - 31 July 2008 22:49

Sorry to hear you are feeling down. Good luck with your admin and lesson plans. That reminds me I need to get in touch with my course convenor and find out what I am supposed to be ta-ing in September...

User: tsipat - 31 July 2008 23:09

So sorry Walminskipeasucker, had such a c**p day too. Didn’t do a single thing, kept feeling tired though I woke up at 10, having gone to bed at 3. Missed my chapter submission date which was today - now aiming for Saturday - Saturday is a must... this writing business is driving me crazy. I think I need to get away for a few days...will see if my pocket permits… really I must before things go kaput. Chrisrolinski, what’s the magic pill that is keeping you up to speed and so jovial

User: chrisrolinski - 31 July 2008 23:19

my pill? a mixture of alpro chocolate soya milk, swedish glace soy ice cream with banana, and fear*

*pure 100% fear that I will dissapoint my supervisors. I was supposed to hand in tmrw. But can prob just push it to lunchtime saturday.

Argh. Good luck with yours.

User: tsipat - 31 July 2008 23:39

Ha, ha, would love to try the ice cream seeing it’s so hot! Good luck with yours too... you sound like you are almost there which is encouraging… aha, the fear factor… its not here at the moment… usually works though.

I think 3,000 words can be donme just about by then. Just. Well it will have to be. Trying to stay positive and upbeat because then that will show in my work.

User: tsipat - 01 August 2008 00:10

I agree, being positive helps. Between now and then (Sat) your 3000 is doable... I have 8000 so far, need at least 2500 more. here we go ...

User: chrisrolinski - 01 August 2008 20:48

I am currently adjusting a conference paper to insert into my chapter and then I only have to write a conclusion. and format the bliography then I am done.

I reckon I can have this done by 3 am. I think. God, 6 hours and it will all be over.

*cranks up high energy swedish disco pop and makes a cup of tea*
