Suggestion for PhD Dissertation (Electrical & Electronic Engineering)

User: berk94 - 07 February 2018 01:49

Hi guys..

I am going to start my PhD in April however I still have to choose my topic and supervisor...

In one side I can work with electric vehicles meeting/minimizing energy consumption (distributed generation, PV, solar, storage)

In other side I can work with Multiphase Induction Motor Drives (Direct Torque Control techniques, fuzzy logic algorithms, neuro-fuzzy artificial intelligence stuff)..

Well i really cant predict which side is easier, but both sides sound INTERESTING (but difficult). Also I have no background with programming/coding and I feel like the 2nd side could be purely programming. Though I may be wrong...

The problem is, both supervisors for both sides are good, but they are really strict with marking/helping so I can see myself being in big trouble, HOWEVER, I MUST CHOOSE ONE OF THESE TOPICS for my PhD.. PLEASE ANY ADVICE IS HIGHLY APPRECIATED..
