Presenting preliminary analysis

User: ipekgulsun - 19 May 2022 16:43

Hello,

Hope all of you are doing well. I have some questions about presenting a paper at a conference.

First of all, my research is quantitative. About 3 months ago, I applied to present a paper at a conference. I got accepted. The paper I applied to the conference is generally the same as the current position, but we have had a few changes. I intend to present these changes at the conference. Do you think I should?

My other question is about preliminary data. My supervisor said I could submit the preliminary data. But what exactly is data preliminary? Has anyone done quantitative study and presented preliminary data at the conference before? How did you present? I want to benefit from your experience.

Best,
