Law assignment

User: milo - 13 April 2012 10:24

Hi all,

I need/have to write an assignment on Law (as part of my EngD course requirements) , and this is far outside my engineering background. Does anybody have some good sources of 'how to write an MSc law assignment' which talks about referencing, structure and type of language to use. I know it's a basic question but a recommended 'how to' guide is what I need to start this work!

Any help is much appreciated,

Milo

If you have not been given guidelines then I expect you cannot be penalised for this as long as you are consistent.
It doesn't matter what subject matter you have, use clear English. You are not a lawyer and so will not be expected to write like a lawyer so don't try.
As for any essay, make sure your essay flows from point to point and you don't fill it with more words when fewer words make the point just as well.

I am afraid I have no experience of law, however, I did find this link which seems good:

Hopefully Milo got his/her essay done four years ago and won't need to cheat by paying someone to do it :)
