Overview. A hybrid class of nanoparticles, aimed at combining the advantages of both polymeric nanoparticles and liposomes, has received attention in recent years.
The nucleus has an instrumental role in cellular responses by coordinating shuttling of components in and out of the nucleus and gene expression with genome architecture and stability.
Overview. Immune checkpoint pathways determine the abilities of human malignant tumours to escape cytotoxic immune attack and thus progress the disease.
Dr Koutsikou’s research group in collaboration with Dr Tobias von der Haar (School of Biosciences, University of Kent) would like to invite applications from outstanding and highly motivated candidates, worldwide, who wish to develop and advance neuroscience research.
About the Projects. 1. PhD Studentship in collaboration with AstraZeneca - Electrochemical Fluorination. Organofluorine compounds display unique physical, chemical and biological properties compared to their hydrogenated analogues.
The rapid transition to a net zero carbon economy is currently one of the key priorities for policy making in the UK and the EU. A just transition requires the implementation of climate policies that move beyond carbon pricing and put green public investment at the core of the climate economic policy mix.
