We have 4 Nanotechnology (quantum computation) PhD Projects, Programmes & Scholarships

Five fully funded PhD studentships in Quantum Technologies at UCL

Progress in quantum technologies is at an exciting stage. Applications that harness the non-classical features of quantum mechanics to perform tasks hard or impossible with conventional technologies are now reaching beyond the laboratory into industrial development. Read more

PhD Studentship in Quantum Technology and Nanophotonics: Programming photonic quantum chips using phase change materials

In this project, the student will develop new technologies for integrated quantum optical chips allowing programming and tuning of devices under different operating conditions and in particular for operation in a cryogenic environment. Read more

CDT-QTE: Nonreciprocal quantum metasurfaces for next generation telecommunication systems

Supervisory Team: Dr Sajjad Taravati, Dr Jize Yan. Project description: This project is part of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Quantum Technology Engineering at the University of Southampton. Read more
