Efficient and natural proofs and algorithms
Dr A Guglielmi, Dr W Heijltjes
27 January 2019
Proofs and algorithms are everyday objects in our discipline, but they are still very mysterious. Suffice to say that we are currently unable to decide whether two given proofs or two given algorithms are the same; this is an old problem that dates back to Hilbert.
Electrochemical biosensor devices for point of care use
Dr P Estrela
Applications accepted all year round
Students with secured funding are invited to apply for a PhD in the area of biosensors at the University of Bath. The Biosensor Research Laboratory (http://go.bath.ac.uk/biosensors) conducts research in electronic biosensor devices.
