10 Vacancies for Doctoral Candidates under the C-NEWTRAL Doctoral Network, funded by Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions

C-NEWTRAL Doctoral Network is funded by the prestigious Horizon Europe Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA). There are 10 vacancies for highly ambitious Doctoral Candidates to conduct research on how to advance towards achieving climate-neutral cities from different dimensions (Urban Nature, Urban Mobility, Built Form, Energy, Circularity) through citizen engagement and decision-making support.

An excellent team of academics from six European universities is providing supervision along with industrial experts providing training to Doctoral Candidates. The Researchers will be employed on a full-time basis for 36 months and based at one of the six host institutions (University College Dublin (UCD) – the coordinating institution, University of Bologna (UNIBO), University of Girona (UdG), Heidelberg University (UHEI), University of Helsinki (HU), Queen's University Belfast (QUB). They will also spend time on secondment at non-academic partners, thereby ensuring that all Researchers will spend time in both academia and industry. The Doctoral Candidates will benefit from a competitive salary, social security, a monthly mobility allowance and a family allowance if applicable.
