Politecnico di Torino is an international University where traditions and future, past and modernity are interlinked. Founded in 1906, but preceded by the Technical School for Engineers founded in 1859, it covers the fields of Engineering and Architecture, with excellence in education, training and research as well as performing high levels of internationalization and innovation.

Its long ever-changing history has rated Politecnico among the top European technical Universities for education and research, with 38,700 students and a teaching staff of more than 1,000.
