Centre for Sustainable Chemical Technologies

The Centre for Sustainable Chemical Technologies at the University of Bath is now accepting applications for the October 2019 intake.

About the programme

We will be accepting applicants for fully funded 3.5 year PhD projects with industrial partners. Projects will be listed here. We will also be accepting applications from outstanding self-funded and scholarship PhD students.

Multidisciplinary PhD projects will focus on Sustainable Chemical Technologies to enable the Circular Economy. You will have the opportunity to undertake challenging research which will provide the training needed to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial and societal needs. You will lead the transfer of sustainable practices into industry and society in order to enable transition to a resource efficient, low carbon Circular Economy.

Entry requirements

We invite applications from Science and Engineering graduates who have, or expect to obtain, a first or upper second class degree and have a strong interest in Sustainable Chemical Technologies.
