Call for applications for 2021

Would you like to study for a PhD as part of a supportive, collaborative partnership in Scotland?

Would you like to be part of a vibrant community of bioscience students and supervisors working together on cutting edge research of global importance?

Would you like to experience enhanced development and training opportunities in new technologies and techniques, public engagement and industrial impact?

Our training programme is designed to equip our students to compete with the best in the world in their future employment.

EASTBIO will offer a minimum of 50 fully-funded studentships to start in autumn 2021, up to 30% of which will be available to international students. Note that these studentships cover UK level tuition fees only but some departments may be able to support international fees also.  Please refer to UKRI website and Annex B of the UKRI Training Grant Terms and Conditions for full eligibility criteria.
