4 Year PhD programme in Regenerative Medicine

4 Year PhD programme in Regenerative Medicine

We are now accepting applications to the EPSRC/MRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Regenerative Medicine, to join the University of Manchester from September 2018.

The CDT offers cutting-edge multidisciplinary training in bioengineering, biomaterials and tissue engineering. Our programme involves more than 50 leading research groups across the Faculties of Biology, Medicine and Health, and Science and Engineering.

The 4 Year programme will begin with 6 months formal training, with lectures, enquiry-based learning modules and mini lab projects. Students will then progress on to their chosen PhD project, and will have opportunities to extend their skills training by undertaking an industrial training placement and/or an international exchange.

Applications should be submitted online as soon as possible.

We welcome applications from those who hold or are expected to obtain at least an Upper Second Class honours degree in a relevant engineering or physical sciences discipline. The studentship provides full funding for UK or eligible EU students.

For further information about the programme, eligibility requirements and how to apply please visit our website.

Deadline for receipt of online applications is Wednesday 28 February 2018, 5pm.
Interviews will be held in Manchester in March.

Applications should be submitted online as soon as possible.
