Expressions of Interest wanted for PhD scholarships with Monash University’s Graduate Research Industry Partnership on Human-in-The-Loop Analytics

Monash is partnering with industry to expand Australia’s expertise in Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Social Informatics, Human-computer Interaction and Data Visualisation to harness the rapid advances in AI and Data Science and enable people to work with complex data in smart, effective, efficient and ethical ways. These partnerships and the PhD’s that they will support are collectively titled the Human-in-The-Loop Analytics for the Graduate Research Industry Partnership (HiLA GRIP) Program.

We are currently aligning research areas and topics with our industry partners and will be seeking high calibre PhD candidates to join us for the July 2019 intake in Australia. All HiLA PhDs are supported by a scholarship, fee waiver, a professional development program and support for international students.

If you are looking for a graduate research training program that connects you directly to industry professionals to solve real-world problems then we would love to hear from you. We are currently interested in collecting a list of interested candidates that may be considering advancing their academic career.

All expressions of interest will be added to our mailing list and will ensure that you will be immediately notified of specific projects within the HiLA GRIP as they become available. We expect to advertise each of these individual projects over the course of the next 3 months, with all PhD’s commencing in July 2019.
