Kings College London PhD Studentships in the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences

King’s College London is an internationally renowned university with a distinguished history of delivering exceptional education and world-leading research. We are offering funded studentships in the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences to study a PhD in one of our departments, including Chemistry, Engineering, Informatics, Mathematics and Physics. The PhDs are offered in the fields of Bioinformatics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied and Pure Mathematics , Physics, and Statistics.

Our dynamic community of postgraduate students engage in interdisciplinary research across the faculty and its research centres and are supported by supervisors who are internationally renowned experts in their field. The NMES Graduate School provides information about our PhDs, Centres for Doctorial Training and Research Centres, and offers the opportunity to discover the research being conducted in the Faculty. The Graduate School also delivers a training and event programme for PGR (Postgraduate Research) students enabling them to upskill in key areas and get to know fellow students as part of this dynamic and creative research community.

The NMES Graduate School is holding two virtual open events for prospective postgraduate research students on 16 and 23 November 2023. The first session will involve a short introductory presentation delivered by the Graduate School Director, Professor Rivka Isaacson, followed by an overview of the Faculty's research activities and funding opportunities available to both home and overseas students. The second session is designed to give you an overview of the application process and provide you with some hints and tips on how to draft a research proposal and complete your application to your chosen department.
