Forrest - Kerry Hill PhD Scholarship in Architecture and Building Design

The Forrest - Kerry Hill PhD Scholarship, created to honour the life and work of internationally-acclaimed architect Kerry Hill, AO, is open to outstanding candidates who wish to undertake doctoral research in any area of architecture and building design. The scholarship, which is for commencement in 2022, provides a generous stipend, free accommodation in (Kerry Hill-designed) Forrest Hall, all university fees, and a travel and research allowance. The scholarship is open to candidates of any nationality and can be held at Curtin University or The University of Western Australia.

The Forrest Research Foundation was established in 2014 following the donation of $130 million by Andrew and Nicola Forrest through the Minderoo Foundation. The donation is used to drive research and innovation in Western Australia by supporting PhD scholars and post-doctoral Fellows. The Forrest-Kerry Hill PhD scholar will join a group of more than 60 exceptional early-career researchers who work in and across all disciplines, breaking with convention, pushing at boundaries, and going further than they imagined possible. They are at the forefront of world-leading research in their chosen discipline. Their research has the potential to change the world.

Applications close 11:59pm Sunday 18 July 2021
