The Rosalind Franklin Institute is a new national institute, funded by the UK government through UK Research and Innovation, dedicated to bringing about transformative changes in life science through interdisciplinary research and technology development.

Our one-of-a-kind fully funded PhD programme will recruit exceptional students to work on research which will cross a number of our current research themes. The projects will have real world impact, with world-leading research supervisors, access to industrial collaborations and brand-new laboratory facilities.

Our research themes include:

  • Artificial Intelligence and Informatics
  • Biological Mass Spectrometry
  • Correlated Imaging
  • Next Generation Chemistry
  • Structural Biology

If you are curious about our new 4-year PhD programme, please register to join our Zoom Q&A on Tuesday 27th April at midday.
