The University offers an extensive, successful and growing portfolio of teaching, research and business enterprise across a breadth of disciplines, and is looking to recruit up to 25 Graduate Tutors.

These roles offer an exciting opportunity to begin a fast-track academic career, undertaking PhD level research whilst also gaining experience of teaching and a recognised teaching qualification. All associated tuition fees are fully covered as part of the role.

Graduate Tutors (Postgraduate Research) x 25

You will contribute to research and teaching in a discipline cognate to one of the Academic Schools of the University: Arts and Media; Computing; Health and Social Care; Science and Engineering; Social Sciences, Business and Law (including Teesside University Business School).

You must hold a first degree and you will be required to select and study for a Doctoral qualification in one of the agreed academic topics offered by the University and linked to our research themes and units (please see details here).

You will also assist and support senior academic staff with the delivery of our courses and the learning of our students, and will undertake the University Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education over three years.
