The Graduate School

The Graduate School exists to support postgraduates, and to enhance the academic side of their time at Aberystywth. It oversees and supports the further development of postgraduates through the provision of facilities for postgraduates, the Researcher Development Programme, careers enhancement programme, and teacher training programme.

AberDoc Scholarships

AberDoc Scholarships are part of a prestigious fund for Research Postgraduates at Aberystwyth University. These awards are tailored to enable students to develop the necessary skills required to meet their career choices and offer a breadth of development opportunities to enhance their research, teaching and transferable skills. Those awarded an AberDoc Scholarship will receive a grant for up to three years which will cover their tuition fees (up to the UK rate of £4,500 per annum*). A maintenance allowance of approximately £15,609 per annum* and access to a travel and conference fund (max. £1,000 per annum*) will also be provided. For more information please visit our webpage.
