The position is placed in salary code 1378/1017, which currently corresponds to an annual gross income of NOK 430.500,- (pay scale level 50). From this will be deducted a percent for mandatory membership in the National Pension Fund. (Foreign applicants can find more information about NPF here: http://www.spk.no)
The appointment will be made in accordance with current regulations with supplementary rules for research fellowship appointments in universities and university colleges. Applicants must agree to participate in organized doctoral study programs within the period of appointment.

- An application letter, including personal suitability and motivation for the position.

- Draft PhD proposal and a 3/4 year progress plan (8-10 pages) demonstrating how the PhD will be executed and fit within the framework of the position.

- Copies of Master’s dissertation.
