A number of Postgraduate Research Studentships are available within the School of Mathematics and Physics for home/EU and International students enrolling in 2024.

Academic Requirements:

A minimum 2.1 honours degree or equivalent in mathematics, physics, astrophysics, chemistry, or engineering or relevant degree is required.

General Information

The School of Mathematics and Physics offers a number of full-time PhD studentships at Queen’s University Belfast. These PhD studentships, funded by a variety of sources including the Department for the Economy (DfE), Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) or by external companies commence on 1 October 2024.
