Hong Kong PhD Fellowship (HKPF)
Eligibility: Full-time MPhil/PhD candidates
Stipend: HK$325,200 (~US$41,640) annually
Travel allowance: HK$13,600 (~US$1,740) annually
Accommodation: Guaranteed hall place for the 1st year with possibility of renewal
Composition fees: HK$42,100 (~US$5,400) waived annually
HKU Presidential PhD Scholar Programme (HKU-PS)
Eligibility: Full-time PhD candidates
Cash award: HK$40,000 (~US$5,130) in 1st year; HK$20,000 (~US$2,560) annually in the remaining normative study period
Stipend: HK$325,200 (~US$41,640) annually
Travel allowance: HK$13,600 (~US$1,740) annually
Composition fees: HK$42,100 (~US$5,400) waived annually
Accommodation: Guaranteed hall place for the 1st year with possibility of renewal
Doctoral Entrance Scholarship for Medical Research Excellence
Cash award: HK$50,000 (~US$6,410) by four half-yearly instalments starting from the 1st year
Tuition Waiver Scheme
Eligibility: Full-time local MPhil/PhD candidates
Composition fees: HK$42,100 (~US$5,400) waived annually
Postgraduate Scholarships (PGS)
Eligibility: Full-time MPhil/PhD candidates
Stipend: HK$216,360 (~US$276,00) annually
