School of Management – PhD Scholarships Available

The School of Management is a leading international business school based in the UK. A recognized centre of management research excellence, the School ranks in the top 10 of the UK’s latest national research quality assessment, and places in the top 100 in the world for Business and Management Studies in the 2019 QS World University Rankings. The School is EQUIS accredited, something only 1% of business schools worldwide have successfully achieved.

The School’s interdisciplinary and international research informs business and public policy at the highest levels of management and government. Faculty members collaborate with and are drawn from leading research universities globally.

Key to the School’s interdisciplinary and cross-cultural environment of research excellence is a vibrant PhD programme attracting and training exceptionally able and strongly motivated students from around the world. The School is currently recruiting PhD applicants from both those with their own projects and for a wide range of specific faculty-designed and led research projects across all disciplines:

• Accounting, Finance and Law (AFL)
• Marketing, Business and Society (MBS)
• Information, Decisions and Operations (IDO)
• Strategy and Organisation (SO)

A range of studentships are available across all disciplines. They pay a generous living allowance and offer a full or partial fee waiver for three or four years. All accepted students will start their PhD studies in October 2021.

Studentships include:

• Full Home and EU fees (with funding also available for Overseas [no-UK or EC] applicants)
• An annual stipend at the UKRI rate (£15,285 in 2020/21)
• An additional research budget of £1,000 per annum
