Our team pursues research in the field of our CoMem (for Corporate Memory) - a corporate memory infrastructure that makes corporate data silos accessible with knowledge graphs for knowledge-based services. With our Semantic Desktop approach, we are able to embed these services into the working environment of users and therefore provide context-specific assistance. CoMem is both a research object itself and a real application in industrial use. Parallel to the projects, we use it ourselves 24/7 according to the saying "Eat-your-own-dogfood". More information is available here.
Current research topics with possibilities for PhD research include intentional forgetting, graph neural networks & embeddings, digital assistants, intelligent search, proactive information delivery, intelligent user interfaces & HCI, context awareness, machine learning, semantic technologies, ontologies, knowledge graphs, information retrieval, NLP etc.
We have several positions available for those who wish to pursue a PhD in these topics. Therefore, we are looking for motivated PhD students who want to join our team, bring in their ideas and expertise, extend our research in this innovative topic area and want to bring their ideas into running systems.
We offer full-time jobs at a renowned AI research institute with application-oriented research and industry-orientation with various development opportunities.
We look forward to receiving your informative application documents and your earliest possible starting date.
