Social and Behavioural Life and Environmental Science

The Social and Behavioural Life and Environmental Science Research Theme

The University of Exeter EPSRC DTP PhD Studentships

Addressing key challenges affecting human and animal health and well-being, and environmental changes, requires technological innovations, sophisticated understandings of individual behaviour, individual and collective adaptations, and how these are set within broader, and often complex, systems (e.g., groups, societies, regulatory frameworks), as well as sensitivity to the possibilities (and problematics) of new forms of data and data-analytics.

We have a number of Social and Behavioural Life and Environmental Science research projects open for applications, but also welcome the submission of research proposals which fit one of the themes – Data Driven Future; Energy Use and Energy Efficiency; Healthcare Technologies.
