South East Regional Development Scholarships

Institute of Technology Carlow, together with Waterford Institute of Technology, are pleased to announce a major funded programme of PhD scholarships. This is a key element in the development process towards the Technological University for the South East ofIreland (TUSEI). Funding has been made available by the Higher Education Authority for this new initiative under the TU designation process.

Funding will be awarded for a four-year structured PhD scholarship valued at €16,000 per annum plus fees and each project will have an additional budget for research expenses.

Applicants should complete the application form available on IT Carlow website and email it, together with a brief CV, to Dr. Brian Jackson, Head of Postgraduate Studies (brian.jackson@itcarlow.ie) before the closing date of April 5th 2021.
