Techne Doctoral Training Partnership

Techne DTP is pleased to offer Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funding for up to 60 PhD students for September 2023 entry.

We welcome applications from talented individuals working across the arts and humanities to be based at one of nine higher education institutions in London and the south-east, Brunel University, Kingston University, Loughborough University London, Royal Holloway University of London, University of the Arts London, University of Brighton, University of Roehampton, University of Surrey, and the University of Westminster.

The world-class research and training environments of these institutions are enhanced by the partnership’s strategic relations with 13 non-HEI partner organisations ranging from The National Archives to the National Trust.

The vision and the training offered by Techne emphasises the interweaving of critical thinking, making, and reflexive action in the craft of research. More information on our areas of study can be found on our website.
