The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS), established by the Research Grants Council (RGC) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, aims to attract the best and brightest students from across the globe to pursue their PhD studies in Hong Kong universities.
CUHK provides selected HKPFS candidates with generous financial assistance totalling up to HK$1.77 million (over US$227,200)* covering the following:
