ULMS PhD Funding Call: October 2022 entry

Reference: PHD-GTF-ULMS-2022
Closing date: 12:00pm, midday, UK time, Friday 7th January 2022

The University of Liverpool Management School

The University of Liverpool Management School is inviting applications from prospective PhD candidates with an outstanding academic achievement and research potential for a number of GTF Studentships (Graduate Teaching Fellowships) in the 2022/23 academic year. The University of Liverpool Management School is one of an elite group of institutions worldwide to hold the gold standard triple-accreditation from AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.

Graduate Teaching Fellowships (GTFs)

The Graduate Teaching Fellowships provide an opportunity for applicants with a First or Upper Second Class Honours degree, a Masters degree in a cognate subject and a strong commitment to research, to combine studying for a PhD with the acquisition of teaching experience. Successful candidates will be required to complete 300 hours of teaching during their programme, alongside the doctoral research project. GTFs will receive an annual stipend of £15,609 plus a fee waiver and will have access to student support funds in line with the wider doctoral training provision at ULMS. These fellowships will be open to all nationalities and subject areas. Home students and a select number of overseas students who have evidenced a strong application and interview will receive a full GTF Studentship (fees and maintenance grant). The remaining appointed overseas students will receive a fee at the Home rate (a possible top up payment may be available to some overseas candidates, subject to budget); the maintenance grant for Overseas and Home students is the same amount.
