Vice-Chancellor’s PhD Scholarships (Three-Year, Full-Time mode only)
Applications are invited from outstanding applicants of a high calibre to pursue PhD research at Liverpool Hope University in selected areas. We are seeking confident, innovative postgraduates with a record of achievement to undertake a broad range of thematic and inter-disciplinary projects. This call is open to both UK and international applicant and is a continuation of the 2022 VC Scholarship round in order to fill the remaining vacancies.
This award would cover full tuition fees and a monthly maintenance grant each year (paid in monthly instalments) for a maximum of three years of full-time doctoral study (subject to evidence of satisfactory progress and periodical review as deemed suitable by the University). Please visit our website for details. The Scholarship will only cover three years of doctoral studies and there is a strong expectation that the projects will finish during the course of these scholarships. Progress on the projects will be reviewed frequently and insufficient progress will result into termination of studies and the scholarship.
Please note: As the successful candidates will undertake a PhD through full-time study there will be an expectation for you not to take an external commitment or employment during the duration of the PhD studies. The only work that the candidates may be permitted to undertake is the GTA role for providing teaching support if such an opportunity becomes available.
