The Wellcome funded Integrated molecular, cellular and translational biology programme combines scientific excellence with a commitment to improving the working environment and transition support for trainees. This PhD programme, provided by world-renowned scientists from the School of Life Sciences at the University of Dundee, will train the next generation of scientists at the forefront of international science. Students will join our supportive and positive research culture with the opportunity to select research projects centred around four themes:

Five studentships are available with a start date of September 2021 and will cover a generous stipend (£19,919 in year 1 rising to £23,997 in year 4), tuition fees, training and travel budget. Part-time study is an option (please indicate at time of application) and we offer enhanced support to individuals with primary care responsibilities or disabilities.

Eligibility: Applications are welcome from all nationalities and applicants are expected to hold (or be about to achieve) a 2:1 Honours degree in a relevant subject or demonstrably equivalent experience.
