About the Programme

Application Deadline: Monday 22nd June 2020.

A new opportunity is available for three outstanding doctoral candidates to develop their careers as researchers within the School of Human and Health Sciences at the TEF Gold rated University of Huddersfield. The School has an ambitious programme of research that is making a real difference to people's lives.

We have one scholarship focusing on International Development which addresses UN sustainable development goals in relation to health, radicalisation, terrorism, migration, cities, children or gender.

We also have two scholarships within the field of Applied Health Research focusing on social prescribing for adults and young people with mental health problems.
All scholarships have full bursaries. More detailed information about the areas of research and supervisors is available here (https://research.hud.ac.uk/research-degrees/researchscholarships/schoolofhumanandhealthsciencesscholarships/competitivescholarshipswithbursaries/).

All postgraduate researchers in our School benefit from skilled supervision by experienced and enthusiastic researchers and a comprehensive programme of training in research methods and researcher development.

We are looking for candidates that have a passion for their discipline and a clear view of the potential impact of their research. Successful candidates will not only have the potential to produce an exceptional piece of work but will also be keen to play an active role in developing the research culture of our School, contributing to seminars and other research events.

Further information about the school, the scholarships, our key research themes, contacts and how to apply is available here (https://research.hud.ac.uk/research-degrees/researchscholarships/schoolofhumanandhealthsciencesscholarships/competitivescholarshipswithbursaries/).

We look forward to hearing from you.
