The Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS) is offering a number of studentships available for PhD applicants wishing to start their postgraduate research degree in September 2023.

Project Description
Exeter's Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences is offering up to four PhD studentships (open to Home (UK) fee-paying students only) for candidates aiming to begin studying in September 2023.
Duration and value of the award
The studentship will be for a period of up to 3 years (36 months), dependent on satisfactory progress, and will cover full tuition fees and an annual maintenance grant of £17,668 (2022/23 rate).

Postgraduate Teaching Assistant (PTA) Scholarships in the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences
Exeter’s Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences is offering up to two fully funded PTA scholarships for study commencing in September 2023, within the Departments of Classics, Ancient History, Religion and Theology; Social and Political Sciences, Philosophy and Anthropology; and Humanities and Social Sciences, Penryn (Cornwall).
Duration and value of the award
The studentship is for a maximum of 3 years and provides:
Annual total (i.e., remuneration + stipend, excluding tuition fees): £17,668 (2022/23 rate)
Full tuition fees at UK/International fee rate
Remuneration for up to 180 hours teaching per year at Occasional Teacher A level : £3,434.40 (2022/23 rate subject to tax & National Insurance)
