 The University of Luxembourg is a multilingual, international research university.

The Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (FDEF) of the University of Luxembourg is recruiting a:

Doctoral researcher (PhD student) in Law (M/F)

• A specialisation is foreseen in contract law
• Ref: F2-50011722 (to be mentioned in all correspondence)
• 14-months initial fixed-term contract, extendable up to 48 months
• Full-time position, 40h/week
• Employee and student status

Tasks
• The doctoral researcher will be working within the Research Unit in Law. The doctoral researcher is expected to contribute to research projects in the area of contract law. Particular interest in complex contracts such as company contracts or international contracts would be an asset
• The candidate's main task will be to prepare a doctoral thesis in the field of contract law under the supervision of Professor Isabelle Corbisier. The thesis work will be undertaken at the University of Luxembourg but can also be part of a jointly-supervised with another university
• Contribute to the teaching of classes ranging from one to three hours per week, of small group teachings and tutorials
• Assist the PhD supervisor in her research projects

• Master's degree in Law
• Have the linguistic skills to evolve in a multilingual environment: fluency in both English and French, and possibly a third language, German in particular, will be considered an advantage
