The Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance offers three Bachelor programmes, four Master programmes of Management and Economics and six Masters of Laws (LL.M.), as well as several continuing education courses. Your Role
• The doctoral researcher will be working within the Department of law. The doctoral researcher is expected to contribute to research projects in the area of private international law
• The candidate's main task will be to prepare a doctoral thesis in the field of private international law, under the supervision of Professor Gilles Cuniberti. The thesis work will be undertaken at the University of Luxembourg but can also be part of a jointly-supervised with another university
• Contribute to the teaching of classes ranging from one to three hours per week, of small group teachings and tutorials
• Assist Professor Gilles Cuniberti in the preparation of his research, conference and teaching activities

Your Profile
• Master's degree in private international law with grades ranking in the top 20 % of your class
• Have the linguistic skills to evolve in a multilingual environment: fluency in both English and French, good understanding of a third language, German in particular, will be considered an advantage
