An EUI Ph.D. is more than writing a dissertation

Located on the scenic hills above Florence, the EUI offers doctoral programmes, a post-doctoral programme and a research centre within the social sciences. Our dynamic multi-lingual environment means you work predominantly in English to create and develop research that is both original and innovative.
Fully-funded four-year Ph.D. programmes
The EUI offers well-structured doctoral programmes with approximately 150 scholarships available annually. These cover tuition fees and provide a monthly grant.
Our Ph.D. application form opens in November, for admission the following September. You must apply online by 31 January.

All EUI Ph.D. programmes have funding attached. Applications are welcome from suitably qualified candidates who meet the given eligibility criteria. Please visit our website for further details.
Some or all of the PhD opportunities in this programme have funding attached. It is available to citizens of a number of European countries (including the UK).
