This programme provides an opportunity for highly motivated and capable students to master a wide range of methodological skills and learn the skills required to publish high-quality and impactful research in the field of management.
The programme is offered by University of Exeter Business School for full-time period study. Initially, it consists of a one-year MRes programme. This first year is designed to deliver comprehensive research training to equip students with the required methods, techniques and specialist subject knowledge to enable graduates to go on to produce a contemporary and relevant PhD thesis in Management disciplines. Upon successful completion of the MRes, and subject to meeting the standard PhD entry criteria, students will move to a full-time PhD programme under the supervision of leading academics in the field.
Over the course of the programme, students will have the chance to work closely with leading academics from the University of Exeter Business School, who produce world-leading research in the field of management. This includes a wide variety of topics such as Leadership, Well-being, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Marketing, Social Networks, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Technology and Business, Operations, Strategy, and International Business. Students will be supervised by experts in their chosen field and will receive mentoring and support throughout the programme.
